Dr. Valarie Wright Manley M.D., FAAP
Dr. Valarie Wright Manley is a native of Atlanta, GA. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Clark College with a B.S. Degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Medical College of GA in 1985 and completed her residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC in 1988. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the pediatric staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Having practiced pediatrics in Atlanta since 1990, she established Children 1st Pediatrics in 1998. Her strong belief in Christian family values and education is recognized by her patients and their families. Her clinical interests include taking care of children from infancy to college students; her special interests include caring for children with special health care need particularly ADHD and obesity.
Dr. Manley resides in Fayette County with her husband, Michael, and youngest daughter, Candace. Charisma Her oldest daughter is a physician has completed her OBGYN Residency and a Fellowship at Emory in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Manley enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, theater, music and cheering for the Atlanta Falcons. She especially enjoys having seen many of her patients blossom from birth and becoming young adults and some who now bring their children to her for medical care.
“Children, being a true blessing, will always lift your spirit and put a smile on your face.” Regardless of their age or size, she calls her patients her babies and considers it a privilege to care for them medically and emotionally.
